R. W. Beck, Inc., on behalf of the City of Waco and Waco Metropolitan Area Regional Sewerage System (WMARSS) is soliciting Bids in conjunction with the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Capacity Expansion and Improvements Project bidding on February 11, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the City of Waco at the office of Water Utilities Department (Riverside Training Room), 200 Colcord, Building 100, Waco, Texas, 76707. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at 2:00 pm. on the same date and at the same location.
A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting was held on January 28, 2010 at 1:30 pm at the City of Waco at the office of Water Utilities Department (Riverside Training Room), 200 Colcord, Building 100, Waco, Texas, 76707. Pre-qualification of biosolids removal subcontractors is required prior to Bid Opening on February 11, 2010.
The project, located in McLennan County, consists of 1) Activated Sludge Modifications, 2) Construction of a Flow Equalization Basin, 3) Headworks Improvements, 4) Additive Alternates for replacement of two MCCs, Biosolids Removal from two sludge lagoons, and Hauling and disposal of biosolids from two sludge lagoons.
